After a staying in Sweden, I made my way to Paris. Touring the city alone, I found famous landmarks as well as lesser known destinations in the “City of Love”.
The world famous cathedral is seen with scaffolding after suffering a structure fire in April 2019.
The Eiffel Tower looms over Champ de Mars, a popular green space for locals and tourists alike.
Arc de Triomphe visitors line the railing as the sun sets behind the arch.

While staying in Paris, I point to visit the Normandy region to mark 75th anniversary year of the Normandy Invasion by Allied Forces in World War II.
White grave markers in the form of crosses and Stars of David mark the final resting place for the 9,387 American service members killed during the Normandy landings and the following engagements.
